Tech Theatre & Stage Crew Applications 2026-27

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
These applications are for any student who would like be a part of either Technical Theatre or Stage Crew for the 2026-27 school year. Pay close attention to the two different class options:

TECHNICAL THEATRE:  A PRE-REQUISITE CLASS FOR STAGE CREW (You must take this class first). We learn about the design processes for the backstage elements of theatre (props, sets, lights, costumes, etc). This class is as hands on as possible but is NOT a set construction class. This class is NOT involved in any after school productions or running auditorium events. Students must do well in this class in order to be selected for Stage Crew the following year. Any student with interest is encouraged to apply.

STAGE CREW: Students can ONLY take this class AFTER they have taken Technical Theatre (or are currently enrolled this semester). Students apply for Stage Crew for the following school year. NOT ALL STUDENTS WHO APPLY ARE SELECTED. Stage Crew is a set construction class, and students in this class have the opportunity to volunteer to work backstage on shows and run auditorium events. 9th graders can take Stage Crew for 1.0 Fine Arts graduation credit. (8th graders are encouraged to repeat Stage Crew as a 9th grader if they want)
